For a buyer who has to evidence environmental compliance in an audit, this is the set of documents that answers the question - and it is the reason we lead material discussions with compliance rather than with a price.
These are the standards behind food-contact silicone. If your product touches food, drinking water or skin, tell us at enquiry stage and we will match the grade to the requirement and send the reports that apply.
The reports cover the compound. Compliance of a finished part depends on the grade, the colour or pigment, and the process it goes through. We will not tell you that a part "is certified" - we will tell you which compound grade is supported by which report, and match the grade to your requirement at quotation stage. If a colour or a secondary process changes the picture, we say so before you commit.
Send us the requirement - the environment, the contact media, and any standard your customer or your market requires - and we will return the compound grade and the report numbers that cover it, as part of the quotation rather than as a separate request.
Tell us the standard your market requires and the application. We will confirm the compound grade and send the report numbers that cover it.
